EST. 2026 Garden City Idaho
Ground Rules is a modern burger and sports bar built for locals, burger lovers, and anyone who wants the game on and the food to overdeliver. Intentional builds, standout wings, cold beer, a serious bourbon lineup, and high-energy hospitality — in a category that has played it too safe for too long.
A Modern Burger & Sports Bar
Ground Rules is what happens when a seasoned burger operator takes a fresh swing at the sports bar. Built right in Garden City, it's the local spot for burgers, beer, bourbon, wings and game day — with way more intention than the category usually gets.
At its core, Ground Rules is about rewriting expectations. Guests may come in thinking "sports bar," but the goal is for them to leave talking about the burger, the atmosphere, and how surprisingly dialed-in the whole experience felt.
Created by restaurateur Scott Slater, Ground Rules carries forward a long-standing obsession with what a burger can be — bold, craveable, a little irreverent, and worth going out of your way for.

Smashes, classics, and a few wild cards. Every bun, patty, and sauce earns its place — including a 50% beef / 50% bacon split decision that's a whole thing on its own.
9 rotating drafts, a serious bourbon lineup with 60+ pours, and bartenders who actually know what they're pouring. No nonsense. No gimmicks.
14 screens. Every league, every weekend. Sharp room, warm hospitality, and the kind of energy that makes a Tuesday feel like a Saturday.
Big patio you'll want to live on. Wood floors, leather booths, a full bourbon wall. Bring the dog, bring the bike, bring everyone you know.
