About the Market

A Friday-night ritual,
right by the river.

The Greenbelt Night Market is an open-air, weekly market on the Boise River Greenbelt at The Boardwalk in Garden City — built to celebrate the local makers, growers, food-truck operators, and musicians who give the Treasure Valley its character.

Open-air, family-friendly, and unmistakably Garden City.

The story

Built around the river.

The Boise River Greenbelt threads through the Treasure Valley like a spine, and The Plaza at The Boardwalk sits right on it. We saw the same picture every summer evening — riders pulling off the path, neighbors wandering down from the apartments, locals meeting up for a drink that turned into dinner — and we thought, this place wants a market.

So we built one. The Greenbelt Night Market kicks off June 5, 2026 and runs every Friday through September 4. Fourteen Fridays. Local makers, food trucks, live music, the on-site restaurants, and a built-in audience that's already here for the river. It's the kind of summer ritual that, after one season, you can't imagine a Garden City summer without.

What we care about

Three things, repeatedly.

It's not complicated. We want the market to feel like Garden City at its best — a place where locals show up for locals, week after week.

Local first

Treasure Valley makers, growers, and food-truck operators. We curate the mix so the market feels like the place it's in — not a generic event drop.
